Divergent Thinkers

                                                                    Sir Ken Robinson

Many people have a natural fear of giving speeches or speaking in public. Public speaking is the number one fear overall more then anything else, even death itself. When it comes to talking to crowds it's a natural fear filled with anxiety, some speakers develop sweaty palms, can not become placid, while other's pace back and forth, while several become overly nervous as well as less interesting to huge audience's that could impact (make or break) their future. But not so, in the case of Sir Ken Robinson.

Ken Robinson is an inspiration to educational and creative minds across the globe especially with his public teachings of "Changing Education Paradigms." This mainly because he understands the difference's in cultural teachings globally. How he explains that education is built on an industrialization interest is supportive to my strategy in the entertainment industry and after hearing his business storytelling on the reform of public education, I finally have a mentor to follow and he is added on my people to meet list!

I've traveled globally to and from different countries and cities with the same focus of creativity. I too, believe that this a is a different time era where the problem designed is conceived in industrialization and image. The act of alienating children (academic or non-academic) is leaving many children to believe that earning a degree is not as important, which makes it impossible for many street kids to model the minds of intelligent reasoning. In other words we all want to pass on the identity of our genes into our communities to meet the global standards of an education world-wide.

The passion that Ken Robinson lets off is felt by those who have a real sense for the reforming of public education whether it's prison reform, music industry reform, drug addiction, etc. A large percentage of consumers that listen to rap music and go to school are African American failing in this industrialized economic and cultural educating system mostly east of the United State.

Ken focus is on education reform. Ours focus is music. Combining the two is the inspiration I need to reach a consumer/fan base in the entertainment industry. Entertainment combined with an educational tone. Revolution is not a bad word when it is being coined for the good of the people, "economics vs. intellectuals." He ( Ken Robinson) is one of the first people in a long time I've actually heard to step up and make sense of all this, "economics vs. intellectuals."

Robinson's understanding of how intense the times our children are living in concerning education is, crowd exhilarating innovation. There many distractions from the everyday boring education which is true in the old school system, and reforming music industry artist can be of some assistance toward getting academic and non academic students on the right track. Robinson stated, "the arts are victims." http://www.ted.com/themes/best_of_the_web.html

The truth that kids differ in groups compared to individualism makes a lot sense! Ken believes we need to go in the opposite direction then the economic and cultural industrialized education system has exemplified. There are three things he mentions in order to pursue the Changing Education Paradigms:

1) Get over the old conception academic vs. non academic.

2) Most great learning happens in groups. Collaboration is the stuff of growth. Don't separate people. It
forms a disjunction between them and their natural learning environment.

3) It is about our culture institutions and the habitants that they occupy.

Sir Ken Robinson is a PhD., internationally known leader in the on going development of education, creativity and innovation. He's been seen world-wide by over 200 million web viewers. He received honors from Rhode Island School of Design, one of the highest honorary's a person can attain. In 2003, he obtained a knighthood from Queen Elizabeth "the 2nd" for his works dedicated to the arts. Ken Robinson book titled, "The Elements: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything," is listed as a New York Times best seller.
